The Archive - Shed Complete

December 2021 marked the completion of the shed build. I found some cheap carpet on Gumtree that was a single piece that would cover the entire area without a join, so opted to grab that and drop it on the floor. Not the most railway-room themed carpet but hey it does the job :)

You can see post-carpet laying some masking tape being put down to try and visualise the benchwork boundaries of the intended layout design. I really wanted to keep my aisle widths enough for two people to pass comfortably and have narrow points only when needed. Once I got to visualise and explore the space it allowed me to further refine the basic benchwork layout, so I could then begin to overlay the track plan over the top.
